On Friday, May 16, former Kellenberg Memorial High School standout Julia Piotrowski’s current collegiate team the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins won 5-1 against the Swarthmore Garnet in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Swarthmore Garnet in the tournament.

The Virginia Wesleyan Marlins’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 1:30 p.m. at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park.
