On Saturday, April 26, former St. Dominic High School standout Dylan Bruno’s current college team, the Embry-Riddle FL Eagles, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish.
The game took place at J.M. “Jake” Rubin Park. This was their third matchup against the Sailfish this season.
The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 at 6 p.m. at Henley Field against Florida Southern Moccasins.
Kyle Palmieri says his ACL recovery is going well following surgery in late November. He expects to have a normal summer of training and be ready for next hockey season.
The New York Islanders have signed forward Quinn Finley to a two-year entry-level contract following his standout collegiate career. Finley led Wisconsin in goals last season and has represented Team USA internationally. The young forward was drafted by New York in 2022.
