On Wednesday, April 30, former Division Avenue Senior High School standout Joe Yovino’s current college team, the Elon Phoenix, won 10-9 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Longwood Lancers.

The game took place at Walter C. Latham Park. This was their first matchup against the Lancers this season.

The Phoenix’s next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 2 p.m. at University Field against Hofstra Pride.
