Assemblyman Mikulin partners with local organizations for successful pet food drive

Assemblyman John Mikulin collaborated with Baxter’s Pet Pantry and Long Island Cares for the 14th Annual Legislative Pet Food Drive Challenge. The initiative aimed to support pets in need during the spring season. The drive, which ran from February 21st to April 4th, 2025, successfully gathered 155 pounds of pet supplies.

Mikulin expressed his satisfaction with the outcome, stating, “These supplies will help restock Baxter’s Pet Pantry and also allow Long Island Cares to assist Long Islanders struggling with food insecurity to feed and take care of their pets.” He further added, “I am very proud to participate in this pet donation drive each year to help support families and pets in need.”
