Nassau Health Care Corporation (NHCC) announced today that the A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility experienced a positive shift in its Care Compare ratings, as reported by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The skilled nursing facility showed progress in Quality Measures, Staffing, and Overall Quality categories.

“This is another significant milestone for NHCC, and a reflection of the hard work of our dedicated healthcare heroes who provide the best possible care for the patients at A. Holly Patterson every day,” stated NHCC President Megan Ryan. She added that the facility remains committed to refining policies to further improve.

Dr. Grace Ting, Chief Medical Officer for Nassau University Medical Center, emphasized the teamwork at A. Holly Patterson, stating, “A. Holly’s skilled team of healthcare professionals strives each day to ensure our patients receive quality, compassionate care.”

This development comes alongside other recognitions for NHCC, including NUMC’s recent recertifications and improvements in national safety ratings.
